Terms of service
These terms apply to therackethouse.ca and to everything you buy from us online. By using the site or placing an order you agree to them. Please read them.

Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send your confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order — for example if an item turns out to be out of stock, if there's an error in the listing, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel after you've paid, you get a full refund.
We may limit quantities on any item, particularly on sale stock.
Prices and taxes
All prices are in Canadian dollars. Prices and availability can change without notice.
British Columbia sales tax is added at checkout: GST and PST on goods, GST only on services such as stringing. Children's clothing and footwear are PST-exempt.
We work hard to keep pricing accurate, but if an item is listed at an obviously wrong price we'll contact you before processing the order and you can confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Product information
We describe our products as accurately as we can. Colours on screen vary between monitors and phones, and manufacturers occasionally change specifications, weights or colourways without notice. If what arrives isn't what you expected, talk to us — see our refund policy.
Stringing and services
We string to the tension and pattern you request. Strings are a consumable and will lose tension and eventually break; that's normal play and isn't a fault.
Frames are inspected before we start. If we find a crack or existing damage that makes stringing risky we'll contact you before going ahead. We're not responsible for damage arising from pre-existing faults in a frame.
Once a racket has been strung, that service is final — see our refund policy.
Gift cards
Gift cards are redeemable in store and online. Under British Columbia law they do not expire and carry no fees. They can't be exchanged for cash and are non-refundable.
Your account
If you create an account, keep your password to yourself and give us accurate information. You're responsible for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
Don't use the site to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, transmit malicious code, scrape or copy our content for a competing business, or interfere with how the site runs.
Our content
The text, photography, logos and design on this site belong to The Racket House or are used with permission. Brand names, logos and product images belong to their respective owners. Don't reuse our content commercially without asking.
Links to other sites
Where we link to a manufacturer or another site, we're not responsible for their content or their policies.
Liability
Racket sports carry a risk of injury. Our products are sold for their intended recreational use, and you're responsible for using equipment safely and for wearing appropriate protective gear such as eyewear for squash.
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected to an order is limited to what you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under British Columbia or Canadian consumer protection law that can't be limited by agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute goes to the courts of British Columbia.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
