The Boom Team EX is the friendlier half of HEAD's Boom pickleball family — the same power-first design as the Tour EX, but with a thicker 13 mm core that makes it easier to control.
Two extra millimetres of core gives the ball a fraction longer on the face, which softens the feel and widens the effective sweet spot without killing the pace the Boom line is built around.
