HEAD Boom Team EX 2024

The Boom Team EX is the friendlier half of HEAD's Boom pickleball family — the same power-first design as the Tour EX, but with a thicker 13 mm core that makes it easier to control.

Two extra millimetres of core gives the ball a fraction longer on the face, which softens the feel and widens the effective sweet spot without killing the pace the Boom line is built around. The balance sits slightly lower at 235 mm, so the paddle is quicker to reset at the net. If you want to hit big serves and return winners but aren't ready for an 11 mm paddle, this is the one.
