A lighter and more powerful version of the BOOM MP 2026, the BOOM MP L 2026 is for intermediate players wanting easy, effortless power, and for those who like to attack. It’s part of a fun-loving BOOM series that offers the highest power level in the HEAD tennis racket universe and combines that explosive power with the touch to play delicate drop shots.
Endorsed by Coco Gauff and Lorenzo Musetti, the BOOM series is for more lifestyle-focused players who enjoy the fun and social side around tennis, but the rackets also come with the latest performance technologies to enhance the powerful touch. Hy-Bor, a material mix that is mainly used in the high-tech aerospace industry, has been added to the racket’s shaft to improve the perceived stability and solid impact feel. For optimal power and touch, a new AI string pattern was created using artificial intelligence, along with subjective feedback from players. The upgrade also includes new Auxetic 2.0 technology which ensures a more connected feel to the ball while the beam and grommet sets are designed to enhance the power and the directional drilling provides extra touch and comfort. Inspired by HEAD’s iconic ski racing collection, the BOOM MP L 2026 has a vibrant blue design.
